Maximum technology, minimum space requirements!

To complement the existing Metrix® oscilloscope ranges, the new OXi 6204 model is designed for the laboratory and education markets as a replacement for the mixed differential oscilloscopes. It offers a compact design, simple use and practical functions at a competitive price. It is simultaneously an oscilloscope, multimeter, logger and FFT / harmonic analyser, meeting the needs of engineers, lab technicians, technical staff, teachers and electrical and electronic equipment manufacturers. There are many potential applications as the OXi 6204 is equipped with 4 channels isolated from one another and in relation to the earth, which means it can be used with up to 4 independent integrated differential probes.

Technical performance
The OXi 6204 is equipped with a bandwidth of 200 MHz. It offers fast sampling with high resolution thanks to its 12-bit / 2.5 GS/s converter, a 100 GS/s sampling rate on periodic signals and 1 ns transient capture, thus avoiding undersampling.

The graphical "Winzoom" function takes full advantage of the vertical resolution of the 12-bit converter, four times greater than that of a traditional 8-bit converter, ensuring unrivalled accuracy. This feature also provides an improved dynamic range of 60 dB, optimizing accuracy for frequency and amplitude measurements.

The OXi 6204 is equipped with 4 isolated 600 V CAT II measurement channels and displays up to 4 curves on screen. In oscilloscope mode, you can directly view the 20 automatic measurements by simply pressing the dedicated button.

The 4 TRMS 8,000-count digital multimeters included in the OXi 6204 can be used for classic voltage, resistance, continuity, capacitance and frequency measurements, diode tests and Pt100 temperature measurements, as well as single-phase and even three-phase power measurements on the 200 kHz bandwidth. Time/date-stamped graphical recording is performed on all the active channels over periods ranging from 5 minutes to 1 month.

Calculated on 2,500 counts, the FFT analysis can be adjusted automatically by pressing the Autoset key.

Analysis of the even and odd harmonics is performed up to the 61st order to comply with the requirements of the EN 50160 standard (THD on 50 orders minimum), with a fundamental frequency between 40 and 450 Hz.

Simple implementation
Compact and stable, with a built-in handle and storage compartment, the OXi 6204 is easy to move around. For greater safety, the terminal strip is equipped with reinforced-plastic BNC connections which are isolated from one another and in relation to the earth. A reminder of the channel colours is provided on each connection.

The colour TFT graphical screen is touch-sensitive so you can use its magnetized stylus to adjust your settings directly on screen (position of the traces, trigger level, cursors or zoom). The 32 keys for direct access to the various modes and parameters and universal "Windows-like" menus available in 5 languages make it even simpler to use.

Communication expert
The OXi 6204 is effective for both laboratory and remote use and can adapt to new working methods thanks to its Ethernet interface (10 MB transfers) and SCOPENET web server. It also allows printing on network printers; remote management and file exchange on FTP server.

Measurements made remotely with the OXi 6204 are now accessible on tablets and AndroidTM smartphones. Via the WiFi connection, the SCOPENET application also offers real-time display of the measurements whatever your location.
